I was hosting an online, virtual event all about Japanese culture. The audience was college-aged students and we needed a talented interpreter to not only interpret some complex themes and philosophies, but keep the audience engaged. Tomoko was absolutely fantastic. She also assisted me leading up to the meeting by helping me communicate with the Japanese presenter. Tomoko is our preferred interpreter whenever we meet with our Japanese partners. She is perceptive, intuitive, and constantly impressed us with her ability to understand and communicate the true meaning of of our words. She prepared herself in advance of each meeting so that she was prepared to discuss the particular lingo of our industry. She also provided us with refreshingly transparent feedback on how to best present our materials and be respectful of Japanese culture.
